Scenic Flight: OPTION 2 - Kimberly North Coast
Sunday 29th August at 7am
The Kimberley North Coast is one of the world's last great untouched wilderness areas, and the best way to see it is from the air! And not just from the air, but from the comfort of our E190 jet. The experienced pilots from Cobham have put together a very special flight over the natural wonders of the remote Kimberley coast.
Only a percentage of the seats are open to ensure that everyone gets a great view, as we complete the scenic flight between 4,000~5,000ft.
Flight time will be approximately 2 hours & 30 minutes, depending on the local conditions of the day. The flight departs Sunday 29th August at 7am, perfectly timed to witness the soft morning light rise up over the coast.
On take-off from Kununurra, the E190 aircraft flies over the Ord river irrigation scheme before heading north towards the Wyndam mudflats. From here, we overfly the Cambridge gulf, along the remote coast taking in the Berkeley river and King George falls.
Our scenic flight continues over the remote North Kimberley coast and islands, past the historic Truscott airbase, and eventually arriving at the Mitchell Falls.
Finally, our E190 turns and sets course for home, flying past the Cockburn ranges and landing in Kununurra.
